Writing intervals for the grade two exam will need extra care. You
need to remember you now have more key signatures to think about. So always take a good look at the key
signature, because this could make a difference to the interval.
When asked to name any harmonic interval in your grade two exam,
the lower note will be the key note.
The melodic interval are notes played one after the other, you
will see they are shown by a bracket, you need to remember sometimes the first note under the
bracket may be written higher than the second note, but you must remember count upwards from the lower note.
