Digital Products & Right of Withdrawal
This page explains how digital delivery and withdrawal rights apply to digital products sold by 4u.
Our digital products may include:
- Music Theory Courses
- Music Theory iPhone Wallpapers
- Miscellaneous digital downloads
- and other digital educational products offered in the store
No physical item is shipped for these products.
1. Digital Delivery
Digital products are delivered electronically. Depending on the product, access may be provided through:
- a download page,
- your customer account,
- email delivery,
- or another digital access method described on the product page.
Please make sure you use a valid email address when placing your order.
2. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Products
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may normally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
However, for digital content supplied electronically, this right may be lost once delivery begins, provided that:
- you have expressly consented to immediate digital delivery before the withdrawal period ends, and
- you have acknowledged that by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
By purchasing a digital product and requesting immediate access, download, or digital delivery, you agree that delivery may begin immediately after purchase.
3. What This Means in Practice
If you buy a digital product from us and access, download, or digital delivery begins immediately after purchase, your right of withdrawal may no longer apply once that delivery has started, to the extent permitted under applicable consumer law.
If digital delivery has not yet begun, or if consumer law in your jurisdiction gives you additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.
4. Technical Problems or Defective Digital Products
If you experience a technical problem with a digital product, do not receive the correct files, cannot access your purchase, or believe the product is materially not as described, please contact us with:
- your order number,
- the email address used for the purchase,
- and a description of the issue.
Where appropriate, we will work to restore access, replace the file, correct the issue, or offer another suitable remedy.
5. Personal Use and Access Rules
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, digital products sold through 4u are for personal use only.
You may not:
- resell the files,
- redistribute them,
- share course access publicly,
- upload them to file-sharing platforms,
- or otherwise make the content available to third parties unless we have expressly granted permission in writing.
